Roi Oil- from Liguria the best extra virgin olive oil for a unique gourmet experience

All the goodness of Roi Oil

Oil is one of those products that can not miss in the kitchen. Of course, it is advisable to always focus on quality, just like that guaranteed by Roi Oil. Do you know this product? If you said no, don’t worry: that’s what we’re here for!

The history of this magnificent oil

The Italian territory is rich in olive plantations, which represent a real pride for our peninsula. Italian oil is, therefore, among our most loved excellences in the world, especially thanks to its healthy properties and its unmistakable taste. In 2020, one of the best extra virgin olive oils of our territory was precisely the Roi Oil, produced in Liguria thanks to the renowned Taggiasca olives.

The oil mill in which it is built is located in the Ligurian Riviera di Ponente, near Sanremo. This is an optimal territory for growing olives. The Roi company carries on a centuries-old tradition that, despite innovation, has preserved intact the link with nature, creating that sustainable balance that protects the environment. The company’s oil production has been handed down since the early years of the last century, from father to son.

Roi is the historical nickname of the Boeri family, owner of the oil mill. The current owner Franco has decided to use this nickname as a brand, just as evidence of the strong family bond that distinguishes the company. In addition to Roi Oil, the products offered by the company are numerous. From vegetables to olives in oil, from Marseille soap to natural cosmetic products: the company ensures quality and excellence.

The characteristics of an extraordinary product

There are about 8000 selected olive trees that give rise to the Ligurian extra virgin olive oil Roi. Thanks to the collaboration of selected personnel, the mill carries out the cold pressing of the olives through a stone millstone. All this makes Olio Roi decidedly unique. To confirm its uniqueness there are, clearly, the nutritional and organoleptic characteristics. Thanks to the production processes, the authentic taste of the olives is not altered and the final product preserves the scent and genuineness of the fruit in question.

Roi Oil owes its delicate and light taste to the Taggiasca olives typical of Liguria. Their sweet scent enhances the flavor of the dishes without overwhelming them. Therefore, we are talking about a great product for cooking, seasoning and storing food.

What else should you know about this brand?

Roi is a certified brand of the highest quality. This is due to the carefully selected raw material, but also to the production methods designed to ensure the best result. Roi Oil is a PDO and organic product. In fact, raw materials are subject to clear identification and traceability. The olives used (100% Ligurian) come only from selected and certified suppliers.

However, quality does not lead to raising prices too high. In fact, 5 liters of extra virgin olive oil cost about 59.90 euros. Half a liter of Monocultivar Taggiasca, on the other hand, has a cost of about 11.50 euros.

The oil of the Roi company in the kitchen

Clearly, when we have a high quality oil available, the best thing we can do is this: enjoy it raw. Therefore, the advice is to add this oil to dishes already cooked or in salads. In this way you can appreciate all the taste and the many organoleptic nuances. Of course, you can also use it for cooking: given its delicate flavor, you can try it in many recipes without fear of covering the flavors. In any case, the result will be excellent!
