Since 1959 in Val d’Arbia near the Via Francigena in Tuscany, the Marini family has been producing fabulous handmade sweets typical of the Sienese tradition.
It all started with Giovanni’s grandparents, known as Nanni, who handed down their recipes to keep the tradition of their home territory alive over time.
The workmanship is done exclusively by hand with a selection of raw materials of the highest quality, without preservatives or colouring agents of any kind. Over time, the ‘del Nanni’ pastry shop has become a reference point for all gourmets.
The panforte is still baked in copper pans, the macaroons are pinched by hand one by one and the almonds are selected according to very strict criteria, these are the simple secrets of tradition that make their products an excellence.
